Job Description
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer who can design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites with clean code and high performance. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building user-friendly websites and be comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress websites based on design requirements
- Convert Figma / PSD designs into responsive WordPress themes
- Customize themes and plugins without affecting core files
- Ensure website performance, security, and scalability
- Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing websites
- Implement SEO-friendly structures and page speed optimizations
- Coordinate with designers and project managers to meet deadlines
- Handle website updates, backups, and maintenance
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
- Experience with custom themes & plugin customization
- Knowledge of WooCommerce (added advantage)
- Understanding of responsive design & cross-browser compatibility
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with cPanel / hosting environments
- Digital Marketing experience is added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in WordPress development
- Experience working in a digital agency environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects independently
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
