WordPress Developer - Work from Office (5 days)
Location - Perungudi, Chennai

Job Title: WordPress Developer (4 Years Experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop WordPress websites end-to-end (new builds + enhancements).
- Customize themes/templates (child themes, page builders where required) and develop reusable components.
- Develop and maintain custom plugins / functionality using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, forms, analytics, CRM, and marketing tools.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across devices.
- Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and plugin/theme conflicts; ensure quick fixes.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall site health.
- Implement basic SEO best practices (technical + on-page readiness).
- Ensure security best practices (updates, backups, hardening, access control).
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support including upgrades, content updates, and monitoring.
- Coordinate with designers/content/SEO teams for smooth delivery and quality output.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, themes, plugins, and Gutenberg/page builders.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery is a plus).
- Experience in responsive web development and mobile-first implementation.
- Good debugging skills and ability to resolve production issues confidently.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and performance optimization.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional setup.
