Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
- Write clean, well-documented and reusable code.
- Implement new features and functionality for existing WordPress sites.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring high speed and scalability.
- Conduct website performance tests and implement necessary optimizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators and other developers to deliver high-quality projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong portfolio of custom themes and plugins.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress coding standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, jQuery etc.
- Experience with website performance optimization (e.g., caching, CDNs, image optimization).
- Understanding of SEO principles and their implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
