We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with around 1+ year of hands-on experience in building, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of WordPress core functionalities, PHP-based development, and the ability to create custom solutions tailored to business needs.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create and manage Custom Post Types (CPT) and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for structured, scalable content management.
- Develop or customize WordPress plugins to extend site functionality.
- Work with WordPress hooks (actions and filters) to modify and enhance features without altering core files.
- Write efficient database queries using WordPress functions for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for speed and performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across different environments.
- Collaborate with designers, content managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Around 1-2 years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Custom Post Types (CPT) and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Hands-on experience with theme development or customization using PHP.
- Ability to develop or customize plugins as per project needs.
- Proficiency in working with WordPress hooks (actions and filters).
- Experience with database handling or queries using WP functions
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
