Key Responsibilities:
- Design attractive, modern, and responsive website layouts and interfaces aligned with brand guidelines and user experience best practices.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Customize and maintain existing WordPress websites to improve functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and other stakeholders to implement website changes and new features.
- Optimize website performance, including load speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues promptly.
- Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and WordPress updates.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adhere to web accessibility standards.
- Manage website backups, updates, and security protocols.
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience in web programming in WordPress/ Duda/ PHP.
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern WordPress/ HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript or Ruby on Rails a plus.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
