Crossing Infotech is hiring a WordPress Developer Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship runs for 1 to 3 months with a monthly stipend of INR 14,500 to INR 16,000. Freshers and students are welcome to apply.

Job Details

Job Title: WordPress Developer Intern

Duration: 1 to 3 months

Stipend: INR 14,500 to INR 16,000 per month

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain websites and landing pages using WordPress, themes and page builders such as Elementor

- Customize themes and layouts using HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript

- Install, configure and update plugins and keep websites secure and running smoothly

- Make websites responsive so they work well on mobile, tablet and desktop screens

- Apply on-page SEO, improve page speed and set up basic tracking such as Google Analytics

- Update website content, fix bugs and handle routine website maintenance and backups

- Create contact forms, blog pages and basic e-commerce pages using WooCommerce

- Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of WordPress (pages, posts, themes, plugins, widgets)

- Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3

- Basic understanding of SEO and website performance

- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg

- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Good written and spoken English communication

Good to Have

- Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript or jQuery

- Familiarity with WooCommerce, hosting, cPanel and domain setup

- Basic understanding of Figma or Canva

- Any WordPress project, portfolio website, course or certification

Eligibility

- Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), BA, BBA, M.Sc or any related field

- Freshers interested in building a career in WordPress and web development

- Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection
