About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, providing an excellent opportunity for independent developers who are passionate about crafting custom WordPress websites from scratch. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10+ custom WordPress websites built from scratch, showcasing a deep understanding of custom development over template-based solutions. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL is essential, alongside a solid grasp of UI/UX principles and user-centered design. Experience in building and customizing eCommerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in responsive and mobile-first design, adhering to WordPress best practices, coding standards, and security protocols. A strong portfolio illustrating previous custom WordPress projects is required, along with excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
