Job Title: WordPress Developer (Frontend + Backend)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with 23 years of experience who can handle both frontend and backend development.
You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web interfaces
- Customize themes/plugins based on business requirements
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools
- Deploy code across environments (Development, Staging, Production)
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend and backend
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with design, QA, and product teams
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
Required Skills
- 23 years of experience in WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
- Proficiency in:
- PHP
- HTML5, CSS3
- JavaScript (jQuery)
- MySQL
Hands-on Experience With
- Custom WordPress theme & plugin development
- Page builders like Elementor / WPBakery
- Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
- Deployment tools (FileZilla or similar)
- Working across environments (Dev, Staging, Production)
Frontend & UI Skills
- Strong understanding of responsive design
- Ability to convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect web pages
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS
Good to Have
- WooCommerce / WordPress Multisite
- REST APIs / Headless WordPress
- Basic knowledge of hosting & server management
- CI/CD exposure
