Roles and Responsibilities
- Excellent knowledge and proven past experience in WordPress
- Facilitating connection between databases and WordPress components
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics and ability to project manage independently.
- Meeting with respective authority to discuss website design and function.
- Knowledge of custom theme development, plugin integration & development, managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Troubleshooting web seed issues, monitoring the performance of the live website.
- Developing new backend features and plugins, custom functionality, theme integration, theme development and plug-in development
- developing and maintaining complex WordPress applications
- API Development & Integration
- In-depth understanding of performance and security in WordPress
- Developing/modifying custom WordPress/Woo-Commerce themes and plugins.
- In depth knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, JS (jQuery), CSS, and HTML.
- Good understanding of version control like git, Git workflow with CI/CD.
- Knowledge of JavaScript Framework like jQuery or React, WPRest API and WPCLI.
