About The Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites that are fast, secure, and visually engaging. Your expertise with page builders such as Elementor and WPBakery will be instrumental in translating design mock-ups into fully functional web pages. Additionally, you will manage WooCommerce stores, ensuring smooth e-commerce operations including product setup, payment integrations, and checkout processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with creative and technical teams, and contribute to the growth of our digital offerings.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in building and customizing websites. A solid understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery is essential. Experience with WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations is required. Candidates should have a good grasp of WordPress security practices, caching mechanisms, and CDN optimization. Familiarity with managing hosting environments such as cPanel, Plesk, or managed WordPress hosting is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites utilizing Elementor and WPBakery Page Builder to ensure high performance and aesthetic appeal.
- Implement and manage WooCommerce stores, including product setup, payment gateway integration, checkout flow optimization, and shipping configurations.
- Create responsive, user-friendly page layouts aligned with brand guidelines and user experience goals.
- Optimize website speed, security, and SEO performance through best practices and technical enhancements.
- Handle bug fixes, resolve plugin conflicts, perform backups, and manage website migrations with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with designers to convert mock-ups from tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD into pixel-perfect live pages.
- Manage hosting environments, domains, and facilitate deployment processes on staging and live servers.
- Monitor website performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance project quality.
