Title: WordPress Developer
Location: On-site in Pune
Experience: 3+ years
Shift: Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 1 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements.
- Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance.
- Integrate and configure WordPress plugins as needed.
- Develop custom WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
- Ensure content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines.
- Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats.
- Optimize website performance, including speed and load times.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Perform regular website backups and updates.
- Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless website development and functionality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members.
About you
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility.
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in web development and WordPress.
Education
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
- Relevant work experience and a strong portfolio are often considered more important.
