WordPress Backend Developer

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain the WordPress plugin.

Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins.

Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress.

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance.

Collaborate with designers, developers and tech lead to meet project requirements.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Requirements

Proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS and MySQL.

Hands-on experience with custom WordPress development and plugin customization.

Experience with OOPs Concepts, WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API.

Familiarity with WP Event Manager or similar event management plugins is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.

Experience with Git and version control systems.

Experience with any developer platform like Github.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
