We are looking for a skilled WLAN PHY Baseband (RTL) Digital Design Engineer - Sr Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital design and RTL implementation for WLAN systems, contributing to the development of cutting-edge wireless communication technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop WLAN PHY baseband digital circuits and algorithms.
  • Implement RTL design using VHDL/Verilog for WLAN systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PHY design with MAC and RF components.
  • Conduct simulations and verification of designs to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Optimize designs for power, area, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Debug and troubleshoot RTL designs using appropriate tools and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in digital design and RTL coding, preferably in WLAN PHY systems.
  • Strong proficiency in VHDL/Verilog and digital design principles.
  • Experience with synthesis and timing analysis tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler or Cadence Genus.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools like ModelSim or Questa.
  • Knowledge of WLAN standards (IEEE 802.11) and protocols is a plus.
  • Experience with FPGA and ASIC design flows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail.
