PDC DRE Job Description:

Qualification, Experience And Competency Requirements

  • Preferred Education - B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic/Automotive Engineering with Automotive Industry experience

Essential

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Design & Developing automotive fuse boxes.
  • Hands on Experience in Design and Development of Power distribution boxes LV & HV
  • Plant exposure, Supplier management, Launch support.
  • Good knowledge in design basics, vehicle packaging studies, Architecture, and statutory requirements, etc.
  • Cross functional experience in Design and program management will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Automotive Quality Systems (DFMEA, PPAP, DVP&R, etc...)

Roles & Responsibilities (Not limited to)

  • Source packaging document including Engineering specifications, timing, Validation
  • Fuse sizing, Relay selection, Wire cross-Section correlation, Electrical load analysis as new development
  • Responsible for DFMEA & DVPR - Component level & System Level
  • Active engagement in System level integration testing
  • Responsible to process Engineering Change requests
  • Active Engagement in Packaging meetings
  • Manage 3D CAD, 2D drawings
  • Manage Complexity/Diversity
  • Manage Owner's Manual content pertaining to Fuses, Relays
  • Ensure timely release of design in PLM system (ECR, ECO), timely availability of part for Vehicle Builds
  • Responsible for design optimization (VAVE)
  • Responsible to resolve issues during bench testing, vehicle builds & field claims (FEW)
