Key Responsibilities
Windows Server & Infrastructure Support
Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server environments.
Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and basic user access issues.
Monitor server health and respond to incidents or service alerts.
Network Support
Support daily operations of LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues with routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor and escalate network outages and slowdowns.
Application Hosting & Web Services
Deploy and support applications hosted on IIS or similar platforms (.NET/Java/PHP).
Manage SSL certificates, port configurations, and app performance logs.
Database Support (Basic)
Support SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL installations (basic queries, user
access).
Hands-on Experience With
- Windows Server 2016/2019
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Networking basics (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, switching, firewall rules)
- IIS or similar application/web hosting tools
- Basic database support (SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Assist with backup/restore operations and data availability.
