Summary
The Windows Server Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based server environments. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems.
- Troubleshoot Windows server issues.
- Implement security hardening and compliance.
- Manage, Troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy issues.
- Perform server patching, updates, and performance tuning.
- Implement security measures and compliance standards.
- Monitor server health and troubleshoot issues.
- Execute backup and disaster recovery operations.
- Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with IT teams for upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
