Windows / Linux Infrastructure EngineerLocation: PUNE

Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Windows/Linux administration, virtualization, and database setup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for server deployment, system configuration, and end-to-end infrastructure management across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy and manage IT infrastructure including:
- Virtual Machines (VMware ESXi)
- Server builds and provisioning
- Storage and mount point configuration
- Network setup and configurations
- Administer and troubleshoot operating systems:
- Windows Server / RedHat Linux
- User access management and permissions
- OS-level troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Install, configure, and manage applications and databases:
- Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Application servers such as Tomcat
- Configure and manage load balancers (F5 preferred)
- Perform server lifecycle management:
- Build, refresh, and decommission servers
- Troubleshoot issues across:
- OS, database, network, and applications
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for:
- Deployment planning
- Infrastructure refresh activities
- Timelines and execution
- Support BAU operations and ensure smooth transition from project to operations
Required Skills- Strong experience in:
- Windows Server and/or RedHat Linux administration
- VMware ESXi (hands-on)
- Server build and infrastructure deployment
- Experience with at least one database:
- Oracle / MySQL / MongoDB / PostgreSQL
- Good understanding of:
- Networking fundamentals
- Storage and file systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good to Have- Experience with F5 Load Balancer
- Scripting (PowerShell / Shell scripting)
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
