Role Overview

The Windows / Azure AD Administrator & Service Desk Ops is responsible for managing the Windows Server environment, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and supporting identity-related services while also contributing to 1st & 2nd-level support operations.

Key Responsibilities

Windows Server Administration

Maintain Windows Server infrastructure (2016/2019/2022)

Manage GPOs

Administer DNS, DHCP

Patch management (WSUS)

Certificate services support (Enterprise CA)

Active Directory / Entra ID

User and group lifecycle management

Hybrid AD / Entra ID sync (AAD Connect)

Conditional Access policies

MFA enforcement and identity hardening

Role-based access management (RBAC)

Identity & Security

Implement least privilege principles

Monitor privileged access

Support IAM governance initiatives

Service Desk

Escalation point for Windows / identity issues

Troubleshoot login, profile, domain join issues

Support M365 integration issues

Required Skills

Strong Active Directory knowledge

Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID

GPO management experience

PowerShell basics

Windows troubleshooting expertise

Nice to Have

Experience with Hybrid environments

Knowledge of IAM best practices

Security mindset
