Windows Admin - L3

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Server & Security Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our Windows Server and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, security, and automation, with experience in both on-premises and cloud environments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Manage Microsoft SCCM for patching, updates, and system deployments.
• Configure, monitor, and manage Microsoft Azure services, Azure Sentinel Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender, and Cloud App Security.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, including creation and management of users, groups, and organizational units.
• Develop and implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across multiple domains.
• Ensure system security by managing vulnerabilities, permissions, and privileged access.
• Support VMware-based virtualized environments and apply best practices for multisite disaster recovery and high availability.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automating IT processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve server and security issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows Server administration.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SCCM administration and patching.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and Cloud App Security.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory administration (5+ years).
• Solid understanding of Windows security, vulnerability management, and privileged access.
• Experience with GPO creation and implementation across domains.
• Knowledge of VMware, disaster recovery planning, and high availability implementation.
• Proficiency in developing Ansible playbooks and automating IT processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Security-minded with responsible use of administrative access.
