Job Description

  • Windchill PLM Implementation (4+ years)
  • Experience in full-cycle implementation projects, including planning, customization, deployment, and post-go-live support for Windchill environments.
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to Product Data Management (PDM), Bill of Materials (BOM) management, and product lifecycle control.
  • Build and Deployment Knowledge
  • Solid understanding of the build lifecycle and deployment practices for Windchill systems.
  • Experience configuring environments and managing application updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Customization and Administration
  • Hands-on customization experience in:
  • Workflows: Automating processes for document handling, approval, and lifecycle transitions.
  • Access Control Lists (ACLs): Defining user and group permissions.
  • Lifecycles & InfoTasks: Controlling product maturity states and related tasks.
  • OIRs (Object Initialization Rules): Defining metadata behaviors.
  • Action Models & Webjects: Configuring and customizing Windchill functionalities.
  • Module Expertise
  • PDMLink: Product Data Management module.
  • ProjectLink: Collaborative product development module.
  • Technical Skillset
  • Languages & Frameworks: Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript
  • Markup & Integration: XML, REST/SOAP Web Services
  • Development Skills: Customization of Windchill components; system integration with external tools such as ERP and MES.
  • Tools & Platforms: Hands-on experience with Windchill versions 10.0 and 11.0, including platform configuration to meet business needs.
