WIFI CPE Testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Test planning Manual and Automation Test Execution Automation Test Scripting using Python and Reporting for CPE Broadband Cable modem and Wi Fi Devices
• Interact with multiple Stakeholders Project Manager Technical contract management teams and Vendors across the board to for connectivity CPE certification
• Identification and Resolution of Field Issues and Defects Issue Reproduction Triaging Investigation Troubleshooting Issue Resolution and Defect Tracking to Closure
• CPE Lab setup Lab management for Broadband CPEs Wireless Gateways and Extenders

Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge of Telecom Cable Technologies and Products
• Experience in writing Automation Scripts using Python for Network devices Cable Modem WiFi Routers
• Strong understanding and experience with Network protocols including TCP IP DNS DHCP VLANs routing protocols WiFi 6 6E and 7 DOCSIS 3
• 0 and 3
• 1 standards
• Good knowledge of CPE testing for Functional Regression Sanity for voice data RDKB and Docsis features
• Develop wireless network infrastructure and make recommendations on system enhancements for optimization
• Familiarity with Linux Unix working environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Hands on experience in WiFi Ruckus SmartZone Cambium cnMaestro BNG BRAS testing Cisco IOS XE and Ruckus FastIron switch testing may be helpful
• Certifications like Certified Wireless Network Professional CWNP or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Wireless CCIE Wireless may be helpful

Additional Responsibilities:

• 4 to 6 years working experience in Manual and Automation Device Testing troubleshooting experience in RF network and in Cable domain including Wi Fi Voice DOCSIS Cable Modems
