Job Description

  • Develop and optimize alkaline and acid texturing processes for mono and multi‑crystalline silicon wafers.
  • Improve surface roughness, reflectance, and texture uniformity through controlled chemistry and process tuning.
  • Lead optimization for etching, metal removal (e.g., saw damage removal, PSG clean), and RCA / modified RCA cleaning steps
  • Monitor wet bench performance, chemical consumption, and wafer quality on a daily basis.
  • Troubleshoot yield losses, spots, stains, under‑etch/over‑etch, particle issues, and non‑uniform texturing defects.
  • Implement SPC, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions to restore process health.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in chemical processes to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support to the engineering and manufacturing teams as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Wet Chemistry Engineer should have:

  • M.Tech / Phd. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or related technical fields.
  • 1-6 years of experience in wet chemical processes within solar cell, semiconductor, PCB, or related chemical‑intensive manufacturing environments
  • Experience with alkaline texturing for mono‑Si and acid texturing for multi‑Si.
  • Understanding of how wet processing impacts downstream passivation and cell efficiency..
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
