Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Chennai. The Welding Manager will oversee and manage all welding operations, ensure high standards of quality control, and maintain compliance with safety and industry standards. Responsibilities include supervising welding teams, performing welding inspections, scheduling and planning welding tasks, optimizing processes for quality and efficiency, and coordinating with other departments to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Welding and TIG Welding techniques
- Strong skills in Welding Inspection and Quality Control processes
- Demonstrated Supervisory Skills with a proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Keen attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strong commitment to safety
- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications related to welding is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
