Role Overview
Events by Novella is looking for a Wedding Planner who can plan, design, and execute luxury wedding experiences end-to-end. This role demands someone who is deeply detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and creatively driven someone who can manage the full wedding planning lifecycle while also designing moodboards, themes, and visual concepts that reflect Novella's luxury identity.
This is a hybrid role combining wedding planning, client experience, design, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage weddings end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution across all functions.
- Design complete wedding experiences including dcor concepts, layouts, and thematic moodboards.
- Create and present moodboards, color palettes, visual references, and creative proposals to clients.
- Conduct venue recces to understand space, guest flow, and design feasibility.
- Coordinate with dcor teams, production, florists, lighting, and hospitality teams to ensure perfect execution.
- Work closely with brides, grooms, and families to refine vision and customize their experiences.
- Build event timelines, checklists, guest management plans, and day-of execution flow.
- Oversee wedding setups and be physically present during installations and event hours.
- Manage vendor coordination, quotations, selections, and budgets.
- Handle last-minute changes, crisis situations, and on-ground challenges with calmness and clarity.
- Ensure all brand touchpoints reflect Novella's luxury tone and guest experience standards.
- Maintain clear communication between teams, clients, and vendors throughout the process.
Requirements
- Experience in wedding planning, luxury events, or experiential design.
- Skilled in creating moodboards using tools such as Canva, Milanote, Photoshop, PowerPoint, or similar.
- Strong design sense with knowledge of dcor styles, materials, lighting, florals, and layouts.
- Excellent communication, client-handling, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple weddings simultaneously.
- Open to travel, destination weddings, late-night events, and extended work hours.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Passion for weddings, creativity, and luxury guest experience design.
