Website Manager / CMS Platform Specialist
Location: Goregaon (East), Mumbai
Job Summary
We are looking for a techno‑functional website management specialist to own the end-to-end operations, enhancements, and governance of our web properties. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Adobe AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and the ability to manage multiple CMS stacks
You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring high availability, quality content delivery, performance, SEO compliance, and secure operations.
1) Website Operations & Run Management
- Own day-to-day website operations: monitoring, incident triage, issue resolution, and service continuity.
- Drive SLA-based support (L2/L3), manage P1/P2 incidents, and run root cause analysis (RCA) with preventive actions.
- Coordinate release activities (hotfixes, scheduled releases), rollback plans, and post-deployment validation.
- Manage environment readiness (Dev/UAT/Prod), access controls, and operational runbooks.
2) Adobe AEM EDS (Edge Delivery Services) Ownership
- Implement and manage AEM EDS-based site delivery, ensuring reliable edge-first content delivery.
- Work with dev teams on:
- Site structure, routing, content modeling, and template patterns suitable for edge delivery.
- CDN/cache behavior, cache invalidation strategies, and edge rules (as applicable).
- Perform performance optimization focused on Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), page weight reduction, and asset optimization.
- Define operational practices for EDS publishing workflows and troubleshooting common delivery issues (content rendering, caching, indexing).
3) CMS Content Management & Governance (Multi-CMS)
- Manage content publishing lifecycle: authoring support, approvals, publishing/unpublishing, and content QA.
- Ensure adherence to content governance standards: templates/components usage, taxonomy, tagging, metadata, and content reuse.
- Train and support content authors and business users on best practices and platform workflows.
- Maintain content hygiene: broken links, redirects, expired content, accessibility requirements, and brand compliance.
4) Digital Quality, SEO & Accessibility Enablement
- Partner with Marketing/SEO teams to implement:
- Metadata, canonicalization, redirects, sitemap, robots, structured data, and on-page SEO controls.
- Ensure accessibility conformance (e.g., WCAG-aligned practices)
- Own technical hygiene, crawl errors, and search console actions for priority pages.
5) Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a single point of contact for website requirements, prioritization, and delivery governance.
- Convert business needs into user stories/acceptance criteria; support UAT planning and sign-offs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for enhancements, maintenance, and platform upgrades.
Must-Have
- Experience in website management (operations + enhancements) in a techno‑functional capacity.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Adobe AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and modern web delivery practices.
- Strong understanding of CMS fundamentals:
- Authoring workflows, permissions, publishing models
- Content modeling, templates/components, content governance
- Practical experience with web fundamentals:
- HTTP, caching/CDN concepts, browser dev tools, HTML/CSS/JS basics
- Performance analysis and troubleshooting (Core Web Vitals)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with incident management and RCA.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Good to have:
Experience with other CMS stacks: ExpressEngine, Liferay
Exposure to DevOps/release pipelines (CI/CD), Git workflows, and environment management.
Familiarity with SEO tooling (Search Console), performance tooling (Lighthouse, RUM), and monitoring tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4-7 years experience in website/CMS management
- Agile, scrum certifications are an added advantage
