About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Website Developer to work closely with our SEO team to ensure our website is technically optimized, high-performing, and aligned with search engine best practices. The candidate will be responsible for implementing technical SEO recommendations, improving website performance, and maintaining overall site health.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize website structure and architecture for better crawlability and indexing.
- Implement on-page SEO elements including meta tags, schema markup, canonical tags, header structures, and internal linking.
- Create and manage XML sitemaps and robots.txt files.
- Fix technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, redirect chains, duplicate content, and indexing problems.
- Improve website speed and Core Web Vitals performance.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Develop and optimize landing pages in coordination with the SEO and content teams.
- Integrate and manage tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement technical audit recommendations.
- Monitor website performance and suggest improvements for better search visibility and user experience.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or custom-built websites.
- Understanding of website hosting, server-side configurations, SSL setup, and CDN integration.
- Experience in website speed optimization and performance tuning.
- Basic understanding of SEO tools and technical SEO audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 25 years of experience in website development.
- Prior experience working with digital marketing or SEO teams is preferred.
