About The Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
WebFOCUS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions using WebFOCUS. You will be responsible for creating dashboards, reports, and analytics to support business decision-making. This role involves close collaboration with business analysts, data architects, and end-users to deliver tailored solutions that meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WebFOCUS applications:
Design, code, test, and deploy reports, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs, translating them into technical solutions.
Integrate WebFOCUS applications with multiple data sources, including relational databases, flat files, and APIs.
- Performance optimization:
Ensure WebFOCUS applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Dashboard and report design:
Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports with advanced formatting and interactivity.
- Support and troubleshooting:
Provide ongoing maintenance and resolve issues with existing WebFOCUS applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
Prepare technical and user documentation, including best practices and design specifications.
Keep up with the latest WebFOCUS features, updates, and trends to recommend and implement new functionalities.
Requirements Must Have
- 2 to 4 years of experience developing and maintaining WebFOCUS applications.
- Expertise in creating advanced WebFOCUS reports, dashboards, and portals.
- Hands-on experience with WebFOCUS Designer, Report Painter, InfoAssist, and App Studio.
- Experience with FOCUS databases, Master Files (MAS), and Access Files (ACX).
- Knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) and HTML/CSS for portal customization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good To Have Skills
- Certification in WebFOCUS or other BI tools.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in cloud-based deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure) for WebFOCUS
