Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Web Journalist (English), with the position based in Chennai and flexibility to work from home. The Web Journalist will be responsible for writing and publishing timely, factual, and engaging articles for the IPD English platform. Responsibilities include conducting thorough research on diverse topics, crafting well-structured web content, ensuring accuracy and quality, and collaborating with the editorial team to maintain journalistic integrity.
*Note: this is a partnership role on revenue sharing module from revenue you generate.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Writing, Article Writing, and Web Content Writing
- Excellent Communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively
- Proficiency in Research to gather and verify information for news stories
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ethical journalism practices and digital media trends
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
- Prior experience in web journalism or digital media is a plus
