About the Opportunity

Job Nexus India is hiring a Web Developer Intern for one of its client organisations. This internship is designed for students and early-career candidates who want practical exposure to real-world web development projects and modern development practices.

Role Overview

The Web Developer Intern will support the development, testing, and maintenance of websites and web applications under the guidance of experienced developers. The role offers hands-on learning across frontend and backend technologies while working in a collaborative, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Support backend development using frameworks such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (based on project requirements)
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing web applications
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX improvements
• Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding best practices
• Test applications across browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and performance
• Work with APIs, databases, and version control systems such as Git
• Maintain basic documentation for code and development processes

Eligibility & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with at least one frontend framework (React, Vue, or Angular) is an advantage
• Understanding of backend technologies is a plus

Experience using Git or GitHub

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
