We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Web Developer with strong expertise in Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce to join our fast-growing global team at UnikBrushes. If you can combine technical development skills with design sense and problem-solving ability, this role is for you.
About the Role
This is a full-time remote position with flexible working hours. No fixed office timings.
You'll work closely with our marketing, design, and SEO teams to build, maintain, and optimize high-performance websites for multiple clients and industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts using themes, Liquid, and advanced configurations.
- Develop and manage WordPress and WooCommerce websites, including custom themes, templates, and plugin integrations.
- Implement product setups, checkout flows, custom sections, dynamic pages, and feature enhancements.
- Ensure responsive, optimized, and visually polished UI across all devices.
- Collaborate with designers to bring mockups, wireframes, and brand guidelines to life.
- Integrate and configure essential third-party apps, plugins, APIs, and automation tools.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including updates, backups, bug fixes, and security checks.
- Work on site speed improvements, technical SEO, schema, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and deliver efficient solutions with minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support landing pages, funnels, and conversion-driven designs.
- Maintain clear communication and accountability as part of a fully remote team.
- Experience working with international or US-based clients.
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or other builders.
Important Note
- Many of our client websites require creative problem-solving.
- You should be comfortable working with:
- Custom Liquid for Shopify
- JavaScript and jQuery
- PHP for WordPress
- Theme customization and advanced page builder setups
- You should be able to build and fix features independently without relying solely on plugins/apps.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with Online Store 2.0, Shopify metafields, and custom app logic.
- Skills in UX-oriented design thinking and conversion optimization.
- Ability to collaborate on marketing and SEO-focused web enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience with Shopify and WordPress/WooCommerce development.
- Strong command over Liquid, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Ability to design and develop clean, responsive, scalable websites.
- Knowledge of technical SEO, site structure, and performance best practices.
- Experience handling integrations, payment gateways, checkout customization, and theme modifications.
- Self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
