We are looking for a skilled
Web Developer with
5+ years of experience to take technical ownership of our corporate website, egsoftware.com. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the site from a development perspective, working primarily with React/Next.js on Vercel and DatoCMS. This is a hands-on execution role where you will manage the technical foundation of the website and ensure high performance, quality, and scalability.
You will be part of the central Digital Marketing team. The team works across multiple systems and platforms where we hold technical ownership, including the corporate website, Account Engagement (Pardot), SEO, CRO, tracking, and analytics. You will be the technical authority for the website and collaborate closely with the team across disciplines and markets.
Your Workday, Tasks And Mandatory Skill Set
Your day will be split between development, optimization, and collaboration. Typical tasks include:
- Developing and maintaining the website using React/Next.js on Vercel
- Building and extending components and blocks integrated with DatoCMS
- Improving performance, stability, and deployment workflows
- Handling bug fixes, technical updates, and continuous improvements
- Collaborating with the digital marketing team and designers on new pages, modules, and UX improvements
- Ensuring code quality, documentation, and technical best practices
- Supporting and safeguarding tracking via GTM and analytics tools
- Advising on future web features and scalable technical solutions
You Are The Ideal Candidate If You Have
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications on Vercel.
- Solid understanding of headless CMS workflows (DatoCMS experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with web performance optimization, SEO basics, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a digital team.
