About The Role
The Website Developer at MP Productions will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital footprint by creating engaging, efficient, and high-performing websites. Responsibilities include developing websites on various platforms such as Wix, Shopify, and custom-coded solutions, implementing interactive features, and ensuring all websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and responsiveness. The ideal candidate will be proactive in maintaining and updating existing websites, troubleshooting issues, and integrating third-party tools and APIs to enhance website functionality.
This role offers flexibility, with options for full-time employment or freelance engagement depending on experience and preference. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, expanding their skills and portfolio while contributing to the growth of MP Productions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in web development with expertise in Wix, particularly Wix Studio and Velo. Experience in Shopify theme customization and storefront development is essential, along with proficiency in Flutter for web applications. A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required, complemented by experience in responsive and reactive web design principles.
Knowledge of UI/UX best practices is important to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to develop highly interactive websites and have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Prior experience working with third-party integrations, payment gateways, and API connections is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with SEO and website performance optimization techniques will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage interactive and responsive websites using Wix Studio / Wix Velo
- Develop and customize Shopify websites and storefronts
- Create Flutter-based web experiences
- Develop custom-coded websites using modern frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
- Implement animations, micro-interactions, and dynamic UI elements
- Ensure websites are mobile responsive and performance optimized
- Integrate third-party tools, payment gateways, and APIs
- Optimize websites for SEO and speed
- Maintain and update existing websites when required
