About The Role
This is a full-time remote position for a Junior Web Developer. The Junior Web Developer will be responsible for assisting in the creation, development, and maintenance of dynamic websites and applications. Core tasks include front-end development, back-end programming, coding new features, troubleshooting, and collaborating with team members to deliver user-centered solutions. The role will also involve refining existing projects while ensuring the use of best practices and optimal performance standards. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies is essential for this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both Front-End Development and Web Design, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming using languages like Python, PHP, or Node.js
- Comprehensive understanding of core Web Development practices and tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to conduct debugging and testing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
The Junior Web Developer will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting in the design and development of responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end and back-end components
- Implementing new features and functionalities based on project requirements and client needs
