About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Platform Architect to join our digital transformation team at Firstsource. This role is pivotal in rebuilding and enhancing our enterprise web presence utilizing Webflow Enterprise, supported by a modern, API-first, full-stack architecture. The successful candidate will lead the engineering efforts across our entire website platform, owning the technical vision and execution for a multi-domain digital estate. Webflow will serve as both the content management system (CMS) and visual development environment, while Next.js and React will power custom front-end experiences and server-side logic where Webflow's native capabilities reach their limits.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of how to architect integrations between Webflow's CMS, Designer, and APIs with custom application logic, third-party services, and enterprise data systems. They should be comfortable transitioning between visual development and coding, making informed decisions about when to leverage each approach. Additionally, familiarity with other development platforms will be advantageous for enabling future migrations and platform enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
- Extensive expertise in Webflow, including Designer, CMS Collections, custom code, hosting, and enterprise features.
- Proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript ecosystems.
- Proven experience in architecting API-first web platforms integrating visual CMS and custom code.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, GraphQL, and third-party API integration patterns.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques such as Core Web Vitals, SSR/ISR, and edge caching.
- Experience integrating CRM systems like Hubspot and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Solid understanding of web security, PII handling, and enterprise compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the end-to-end technical architecture of the web platform, including Webflow CMS, custom front-end, and API layer integrations.
- Develop and enforce API-first integration patterns, ensuring seamless connectivity between Webflow CMS APIs, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
- Architect a modular, component-driven front-end aligned with UI/UX design systems, ensuring reusability across multiple templates and sites.
- Make strategic build versus extend decisions, determining when native Webflow solutions suffice and when custom development is necessary.
- Lead the Webflow Enterprise implementation, managing CMS Collections, component-based page building, custom code embeds, localization, and permissions.
- Develop and maintain Webflow-to-application content pipelines using Webflow's CMS and Data APIs.
- Configure Webflow Designer and Editor environments to empower non-technical teams to publish content confidently within governed guidelines.
- Oversee multi-site architecture within Webflow Enterprise, supporting subsidiary and brand microsites across the organization.
- Stay current with Webflow's evolving capabilities, evaluating new features such as Apps, Logic, Localization, and Memberships for potential adoption.
- Implement server-side and edge rendering strategies for advanced features like dynamic personalization, gated content, and complex search functionalities.
- Ensure data security, PII handling, and compliance with enterprise data governance standards across all integrations.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to ensure design tokens and components translate effectively into Webflow and custom code.
- Partner with content managers to optimize CMS content structures, collections, and publishing workflows.
- Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, and document platform architecture to ensure maintainability and scalability.
