About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated part-time Web Developer to join TheBeeBark team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing web applications that are responsive, functional, and user-friendly. Your responsibilities will encompass both front-end and back-end development tasks, supporting website maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing the overall functionality of our digital tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to support BeeBark's mission of connecting architectural professionals through innovative digital solutions. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere while being part of a forward-thinking organization committed to technological advancement and industry disruption.
Qualifications
- Experience building custom websites with both frontend and backend development
- Proficiency with drag-and-drop platforms such as Webflow, Wix, WordPress, Shopify, and Framer
- Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive websites
- Experience deploying and managing hosting environments
- Efficiency in handling revisions and client iterations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Core Skills Required
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with React or Next.js (preferred)
- Knowledge of Node.js or PHP for backend development
- API integration experience
- Strong understanding of responsive design implementation
Additional Skills
- Experience with at least two of the following drag-and-drop platforms: Webflow, WordPress (Elementor or custom themes), Shopify, Wix, Framer
- Performance optimization skills
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Familiarity with hosting services such as Vercel, cPanel, or AWS basics
Ideal candidates will possess a proactive ownership mindset, demonstrate fast and efficient execution, communicate clearly, respect deadlines, and manage multiple website projects simultaneously. A problem-solving attitude and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom websites and digital tools, ensuring they are visually appealing, functional, and responsive across devices
- Convert Figma design files into fully operational websites with pixel-perfect accuracy
- Collaborate with design and content teams to implement new features and enhancements
- Support website deployment, hosting management, and performance optimization
- Handle revisions, client feedback, and iterative improvements efficiently
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools to extend website functionalities
- Ensure all websites adhere to best practices for SEO, accessibility, and security
- Maintain documentation of development processes and project progress
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and project quality
