About The Role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Web Designer to join our dynamic team at SocialPilot. This full-time position based in Ahmedabad offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of impactful SaaS products within the Martech space. As a Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites, landing pages, and email templates that align with our brand identity and enhance user engagement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, engineers, customer success managers, and marketing professionals to ensure our web presence is modern, responsive, and optimized for performance. Your creativity and technical expertise will directly influence our digital footprint and customer experience, making this role vital to our continued growth and success.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong portfolio of web projects.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Basic knowledge of PHP to enhance web functionalities and integrations.
- Experience working with WordPress content management system for website development and management.
- Strong understanding of version control tools such as Git and GitHub for collaborative development.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions to ensure consistent performance across different browsers and devices.
- Experience in responsive and device-agnostic design, ensuring seamless user experiences across various screen sizes and devices.
- Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques to improve visibility and performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications across multiple platforms and browsers, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
- Create visually appealing landing pages and email templates that adhere to brand guidelines and are optimized for user engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, content writers, and marketing teams to implement visual elements and maintain consistent design language across all digital assets.
- Optimize website performance by improving load times, responsiveness, and SEO to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
- Troubleshoot and debug web applications, providing timely solutions to technical challenges and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning to ensure alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.
