Job Summary

Position: Web Designer / Front-End Developer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3 5 years

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer / Front-End Developer to design and build visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern web technologies, a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop visually engaging and responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate wireframes and concepts into functional web layouts.

Create, edit, and optimise images and graphics using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools.

Ensure websites load quickly by optimising assets, code, and overall performance.

Implement SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility and rankings.

Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility with responsive web design techniques.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve UI, layout, and styling issues.

Maintain brand consistency and design standards across all web projects.

Work with modern UI/UX design tools such as Figma or equivalent platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar image-editing software.

Familiarity with Figma or other modern UI/UX design tools.

Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

Basic knowledge of SEO, performance optimisation, and accessibility best practices.

Good eye for design, typography, colour, and layout.

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar.

Basic understanding of version control systems (Git).

Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and user-centered design.
