UX content:
- Have a knack for UX writing for websites - writing content as per the brand tonality and deriving a theme if required
- Writing thoughtful and well-researched content for key pages
- Defining the nomenclature for the website as per the brand theme
- Working alongside the copy, strategy and design team to develop content for the website
SEO ready content:
- Develop well researched and compelling content for various online channels, including websites, blogs, and on and off page content.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimise content for search engines and improve organic search rankings.
- Write and curate FAQ's, GMB content, meta tags and descriptions
- Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and incorporate them strategically into the content.
- Stay updated on industry trends and SEO developments to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
- Use analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of content, making data-driven adjustments to enhance effectiveness.
Long-form content:
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets high-quality standards, is error-free, and adheres to brand guidelines.
- Writing and checking Quora answers as part of off-page deliverables
- Write reviews and perspectives for off-page activity
- Writing and proofreading blogs as per the social calendar
- Writing listicles wherever relevant
- Writing press releases if required
Operational tasks:
- Collaborate with the freelance writers and internal writers to develop and execute content that aligns with business goals and target audience needs.
- Maintaining and tracking freelancer invoices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and SEO specialists, to ensure cohesive and impactful content delivery.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Skills :
- Proven experience as a Content Writer with a focus on SEO.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.
