You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites, ensuring seamless functionality and a great user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP, HTML, and CSS code.
- Implement custom themes, plugins, and integrations as needed.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring smooth functionality.
- Work closely with designers, content teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in web development.
- Proficiency in WordPress and Shopify, including theme and plugin development/customization.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-friendly design.
- Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for website development.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug website issues effectively.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify app development.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of MySQL and database management.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
