Python with automation testing, data engineer - Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark preferred).

Excellent SQL skills (complex joins, window functions, stored procedures).

Experience with data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and data automation.

Understanding of Test Data Management tools (Genrocket, Informatica TDM, Delphix, IBM Optim, or equivalent).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.

Good understanding of APIbased data integration.

Python & Data Engineering

Develop robust, reusable Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Automate repetitive data processes to accelerate QA cycles.

Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to manage structured and unstructured healthcare datasets.

Implement data validation checks and quality gates

Domain Expertise

Healthcare domain knowledge is mandatory.

Experience with HIPAA-controlled datasets.

Healthcare Domain Data Expertise

Understand healthcarespecific data models such as claims, eligibility, enrollment, EHR/EMR, provider/payer data.

Interpret HIPAAcompliant data requirements and work within regulatory constraints.

Support test scenarios aligned to EDI formats (e.g., 837, 835, 270/271), clinical data, payer workflows, or care management datasets.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Ability to work independently across multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

4+ YRS - RELEVANT 25 years of experience in Python + data engineering.

Experience supporting QA teams in a healthcare environment.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.

Understanding of microservices-based architecture (Java/Python).
