Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Procurement professional to join our Kolkata Corporate Office for the Bhutan Project .The candidate will manage end-to-end procurement of electrical equipment and project materials for Greenfield industrial project.

The role focuses on strategic sourcing, vendor development, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiation, and cost optimization, while ensuring timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of switchgear, transformers, cables, motors, panels, drives, and related electrical materials.
• Float RFQs, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and finalize vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams for smooth execution.
• Drive cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment procurement
• Strategic sourcing & vendor development
• Techno-commercial negotiation
• Strong analytical and coordination skills

Qualification & Experience

• B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering
• 48 years of experience in electrical procurement (steel / power / heavy industry preferred)
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA & MS Office
