About the Role
The role encompasses complete ownership of the Current Account Product - Service , communication and
commercialization. Also, the role requires a thorough understanding of the various regulations and guidelines related to
current accounts.
Key Responsibilities
. Development of current account service infrastructure, maintenance and monitoring of the same.
. Establishing client communication framework
. Creating high quality current account marketing material for commercialization of the products
. Co-ordination with IT and other stakeholders to develop digital self-service journeys
. Formalizing strategies for migrating customers from branch dependent paper-based service channels to digital
channels
. Monitoring & improving customer service delivery TAT & quality
. Expanding the network of dedicated current account service desks
. Co-ordinate with the channel teams to effectively manage product penetration
. Monitor the internal processes for efficiency
. Monitor internal and regulatory communication pertaining to the products / program
. Create Direct to customer campaigns/alliances to funnel digital leads
. Lead projects/activities for ensuring program / product awareness and mind share amongst internal resources
. Coordinate and build strong work relationships with various internal groups: IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Process Quality . Create sales enablers, knowledge series for supporting the stakeholders with necessary information . Identify process changes leading to cost optimization through automation, eliminating redundancy and Simplification
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
. Graduate / Post Graduate
. Minimum 15 years experience in banking
Role Proficiencies:
. Domain knowledge in current account Product, onboarding Process and servicing
. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
. Co-ordination skills with various cross-functional teams to complete projects within defined timelines.
. Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in English
. Should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team.
. Advanced spreadsheet and numerical analysis skills
. Project management and Time Management skills
. Must be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with
vague concepts
. Ability to analyze processes and reengineer them.
