About The Role
WattMonk is looking for a skilled and experienced iOS Developer to join our fast-growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects in a high-performance environment focused on innovation and scalability. You will be responsible for building intuitive, reliable, and high-performance iOS applications using the latest Apple technologies, with a strong emphasis on SwiftUI.
We are seeking someone with at least 5 years of iOS development experience, including a minimum of 3 years in SwiftUI, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- iOS App Development : Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications for iOS using Swift, SwiftUI, and the latest SDKs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into smooth and cohesive user experiences.
- Code Quality & Optimization : Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code, ensuring optimal app performance and responsiveness.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks to maintain a seamless user experience.
- API Integration : Integrate and manage services such as Firebase, Google Maps, payment gateways, AWS, analytics platforms, and real-time notifications.
- App Store Deployment : Handle the complete lifecycle of app publishing, including build preparation, testing, and submission to the Apple App Store.
- Continuous Learning : Stay up to date with the latest iOS trends, libraries, tools, and Apple guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using SwiftUI in production applications
- Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and iOS SDKs
- Strong understanding of RESTful API integration and collaboration with backend services
- Expertise in iOS design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Coordinator)
- Deep knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and mobile UX best practices
- Experience with debugging tools like Instruments and performance tuning
- Strong command of Git for version control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD processes and deployment automation
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of modern modular architectures for scalable app development
