Profile Warehouse Team Lead

Preferred experience 4-8 Years

The Role:

The Warehouse Team Lead oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe execution of tasks, maintaining SLAs, and driving inventory accuracy. The role involves managing and developing the warehouse team, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. This is a shift-based role, which may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Manage and allocate tasks across the warehouse team to optimize workflow and productivity.

Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory control.

Monitor inventory levels, ensure accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation with inventory systems.

Train and develop team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.

Enforce compliance with SOPs to maintain quality control, accuracy, and productivity standards.

Identify and resolve operational issues promptly; recommend and implement process improvements.

Ensure a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety rules.

Effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and cross-functional departments

Must-Have Qualifications:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics (or equivalent) with 2-4 years experience in warehouse operations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS), preferably Unicommerce; strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Core Skills: Expertise in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, marketplace SLAs, returns, claims management, and inventory control.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors

Positive, adaptable, and flexible work attitude.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic situations.

Integrity and commitment to high standards of accuracy and quality.

Ability to remain calm and lead by example in high-pressure environments.
