Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ognaj Ahmedabad for an Warehouse Manager. The Inventory Manager will oversee daily inventory operations, including monitoring stock levels, managing inventory systems, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking. Responsibilities also include liaising with suppliers and internal teams, optimizing inventory processes, analyzing inventory data for efficiency improvements, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to address inventory-related concerns effectively.
Role Description
- Own end-to-end inventory planning, tracking, and accuracy across systems and physical stock.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, dead stock, or overstocking through data-driven planning.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and implement corrective controls.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse teams, and vendors to ensure smooth stock replenishment and flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all inward/outward stock movements and system records.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Implement best practices in inventory control to reduce losses and improve operational efficiency.
- Track shipments and ensure adherence to company inventory and compliance policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize storage, handling, and inventory processes.
- Support business planning with accurate inventory data and forecasting inputs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in inventory/store management or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with ERP/WMS inventory systems is required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy.
- Ability to manage inventory in fast-moving operational environments.
- Strong coordination skills when working with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Excel / reporting tools for inventory tracking and analysis.
