Job Description: Finished Goods Warehouse ManagerReporting To: Plant Head
Location: Maliya Morbi.
Purpose of the RoleTo manage storage, handling, protection, and dispatch of finished paperboard (reels and sheets) ensuring zero damage, FIFO compliance, accurate inventory, and on-time dispatch to customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinished Goods Receipt & StorageReceive finished reels/sheets from production with proper documentation
Ensure GSM, size, BF, customer and batch-wise identification
Safe stacking to prevent damage, moisture ingress and deformation
FIFO and customer-wise segregation
Inventory Management & ControlMaintain real-time finished goods inventory in ERP
Daily reconciliation with production and dispatch records
Cycle counting and monthly physical stock verification
Monitor ageing and slow-moving finished goods
DispatchCoordinate with Sales, PPC and Logistics for dispatch schedules
Ensure correct material loading as per delivery order and invoice
Packaging & Material ProtectionEnsure proper wrapping, strapping and corner protection
Supervise loading and unloading to avoid transit damage
Monitor packing material usage and control wastage
Team Management & SafetySupervise warehouse staff, forklift/crane operators and contract labour
Shift planning and productivity monitoring
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Finished goods damage percentage
Dispatch OTIF (On-Time-In-Full)
Inventory accuracy
Customer complaints related to dispatch
Audit observations
Qualification & ExperienceEducation: Graduate / Diploma
Experience: 612 years in finished goods warehousing with preference to paper or packaging industry exposure.
Skills & CompetenciesFinished goods warehousing and FIFO control
ERP / SAP / Tally knowledge
Handling of paperboard reels and sheets
Strong coordination and leadership skills
Process and safety orientation
