Responsibilities
Evaluate current warehousing operations andconsider business needs andareas for improvement.
Design, develop, and implement automated systemsto enhance efficiency and accuracy in warehousing processes, collaborating with external vendors and global SMEs.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, includingdesign, testing, and startup phases.
Coordinate with suppliers andother work streams (IT, Civil, Production,etc) for design, RFQ, detailed design, and equipment delivery.
Lead concept and basic design phases to support detailed design and construction.
Support the engineering and operations teams during project startup.
Stay updated with advancements in warehousing technologies and processes, updating company standards as technologies advance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, leading initiatives to promote safer and more sustainable operations.
Adhere to all safety requirements and work regulations.
Provide training and support to warehouse staff to use the automated systems and processes efficiently.
Document all processes andchanges andcreate local user manuals or instructions.
