Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations. This role reports directly to the Inventory Manager and plays a key part in maintaining accurate stock records, managing goods movement, and ensuring efficient warehouse practices. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a structured and process-driven industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Inventory Manager in daily inventory tracking and stock control
- Support in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of goods in the warehouse
- Maintain updated inventory records in physical registers, ERP systems, andTally
- Prepare items for dispatch with correct packaging and documentation
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in stock audits
- Coordinate with the barcoding team for tagging and scanning of materials
- Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damages promptly
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the warehouse
- Assist in loading, unloading, and physical movement of stock
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass); diploma or degree is a plus
- Prior experience in warehouse or inventory roles preferred
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse procedures
- Working knowledge of Tally (preferred) along with basic ERP familiarity
- Familiarity with barcoding, stock registers, or inventory systems is an advantage
- Physically fit and capable of handling material movement
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
- Punctual, reliable, and disciplined
