Designation: Process Specialist

Role Overview:

The Process Specialist - The position acts as the process and product expert within the team, supporting agents by resolving complex queries, ensuring process adherence, improving quality, and assisting supervisors in achieving operational excellence. The role bridges frontline agents and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

Process & Domain Expertise

  • Act as the primary point of contact for process-related queries.
  • Provide real-time support to teammates during live transaction reviews.
  • Clarify SOPs, policy changes, and client updates.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent application of process guidelines.

Quality & Performance Support

  • Assist teammates in handling complex or escalated transactions.
  • Perform audits to ensure adherence to process guidelines, SOPs, and client requirements
  • Share constructive feedback and coaching tips to improve quality scores.
  • Identify recurring errors and recommend corrective measures.
  • Communicate updates, targets, and feedback to the team.

Training & Knowledge Management

  • Support new hire training, nesting, and floor support.
  • Conduct refreshers, huddles, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Assist in updating SOPs, FAQs, and knowledge base documents.
  • Act as a buddy/mentor for new or underperforming agents.
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of all new and updated funding guidelines.

Escalation Handling

  • Handle client escalations resolved at SME level.
  • Support supervisors in managing critical or time-sensitive issues.
  • Ensure resolution meets client and compliance standards.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Share process insights, trend analysis, and improvement ideas.
  • Support team lead in achieving SLA, quality, and productivity targets.
  • Act as SME or floor support
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly performance reports

Competencies & Skills

  • Strong domain expertise in US Auto Lending & Compliance audits
  • Proven supervisory or lead experience in QA / QC environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate insights into action
  • Coaching oriented leadership style with stakeholder collaboration mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under defined SLAs

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in US lending industry, Quality Assurance, Auto Lending
  • Exposure to regulatory driven environments and audit support strongly desirable

Educational Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Graduate degree in any discipline
  • Background in Banking, Finance, or Commerce preferred.
  • Behavioral Expectations
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task and organize priorities in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining a high level of focus and accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills, combined with sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Self-starter and the ability to work on projects with limited supervision
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
