Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced WAF Consultant with strong expertise in implementing and managing Web Application Firewall solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing WAF platforms to protect web applications from security threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions to secure web applications.
- Work with WAF technologies such as F5, AWS WAF, Cloudflare, and Imperva.
- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of WAF platforms.
- Monitor WAF logs and alerts to detect and mitigate security threats.
- Optimize WAF policies and rules to improve application security and performance.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure deployment of web applications.
- Provide support in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing remediation strategies.
- Maintain documentation and provide recommendations for improving WAF security posture.
Mandatory Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF) such as F5, AWS WAF, Cloudflare, and Imperva.
- Strong experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of WAF solutions.
- Ability to configure, manage, and optimize WAF policies and rules.
- Understanding of web application security concepts and threat mitigation.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of application security and network security principles.
- Experience with security monitoring, log analysis, and incident response.
- Familiarity with cloud security environments.
